With Gazeau and Risbjerg, Team Visma | Lease a Bike continues to build its development team for 2027. “We are pleased that both have chosen our project,” said Head of Development Robbert de Groot. “Risbjerg is currently part of the JEGG-SKIL-DJR junior team, which we collaborate closely with. He is already somewhat familiar with our way of working, and we know him quite well. His potential lies especially in the classics. But of course, we will work together to stimulate his development in all areas of cycling. Gazeau, on the other hand, is more of a climber type, with considerable explosiveness. We believe he still has a lot of room for progress and look forward to working with him.”

Both riders are looking forward to their first steps in the U23 category with Team Visma | Lease a Bike Development. Risbjerg, Danish junior: “As a member of JEGG-SKIL-DJR, this feels like a logical step, although I am of course aware of how unique this opportunity is. I have a good idea of what to expect and am really looking forward to getting started with Team Visma | Lease a Bike Development. Although I still have some goals to achieve in the junior category first.”

For the French junior Gazeau, the move to Team Visma | Lease a Bike feels like a dream. “I am very happy with this opportunity. In my opinion, Team Visma | Lease a Bike is the team where I can develop best as a rider. The fact that I am joining a foreign team makes it an even more exciting challenge.
