Points Classification Winner – La Vuelta 2026
“Unfinished business.”
Those were the words Wout van Aert used to describe his mission for La Vuelta 2026. Two years earlier, he looked set to claim the green jersey until a heavy crash brought his Vuelta to an early end. In 2026, he returned to finish what he had started.
From stage 7 onwards, Wout wore the iconic green leader’s jersey. Three weeks later, he crowned himself winner of the points classification at La Vuelta 2026. His unfinished business was finished.
