Shimano is a loyal sponsor of Team LottoNL-Jumbo. For years now, the company provides the team with a variety of bicycle parts and accessories. Last season, they introduced the revolutionary bike cameras.

The moving images from within the peloton helped fans to become a part of the race, more than ever before. Shimano is determined to provide fans with more spectacular videos from inside the pack. “Together with teams and race organizations, that’s is our aim.”

Asked about the highlights of last season the people of Shimano pointed to Bau and Lau’s successes in the Tour de France. For the second year in a row they managed to secure a top ten spot in the overall. “They proved their success in 2013 was not a fluke.”

Wilco Kelderman’s perfomance in the Giro d'Italia was impressing as well. “It wasn’t just the results he obtained, but also the way he rode. He attacked were possible!
