Team LottoNL-Jumbo has finished sixth in Hammer Hong Kong. After the three races in Stavanger, Limburg and Hong Kong, Team LottoNL-Jumbo can be found on the fourth place in the final overall standings.

The last race consisted of two parts: the Hammer Sprint and the Hammer Chase. In the first part, the team ended seventh. During the chase, the team overtook Team Sky, so Team LottoNL-Jumbo crossed the finish line sixth.

“Both in the Hammer Sprint and the Hammer Chase, the guys had a hard time”, sports director Sierk Jan de Haan said. Both races were held on a 4.3 kilometres city circuit with some sharp corners. Besides that, there was a high bridge, so the course wasn’t entirely flat. De Haan: “We’ve showed ourselves and we’ve scored points. The guys have given all they could.”
