Van Poppel second in Poland on ‘dark day’ for cycling

Danny van Poppel has finished second in the third stage of the Tour of Poland the relegation of Fabio Jakobsen. The stage from Chorzów to Zabrze turned into a dark day for international cycling.

Lotto-Soudal’s Bjorg Lambrecht crashed hard during the stage and unfortunately passed away in the hospital.

Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Bjorg and the entire Lotto-Soudal team. We wish them a lot of strength in this sad and difficult time.
