Team Visma | Lease a Bike is a leading cycling team focused on both athletic performance and innovative business partnerships. What are you going to do?

As a partnerships intern, you will support our team in managing and expanding existing and new collaborations. You will have the opportunity to gain insight into the entire process of establishing and maintaining business relationships in a sports environment. Your tasks will include:

• Assisting in the creation of partner proposals and presentations;
• Maintaining contact with current partners and ensuring follow-up on agreements;
• Assisting in the organization of partner events and activations;
• Conducting research on potential new partners and market trends;
• Contributing creative ideas for activations and partnership concepts.
   

Who are we looking for?

• You are in the final stage of your bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, communication, sports management, or a similar field;
• You have a passion for sports (interest cycling is a plus);
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English;
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn;
• Creative in developing new collaboration ideas;
• A team player with a positive attitude.

Ready2Race is an initiative of Team Visma | Lease a Bike with the goal of getting more children on bikes. We organize activities for children aged 2 to 15, divided into three categories:

Ready2Race Dikke Banden Race
Events for children aged 2 to 12, where participants race on their own bikes with "fat" tires.

Ready2Race Schoolclinic
Clinics during school hours for elementary schools and classes 1 and 2 of secondary school on cycling circuits. Children from grade 7 and up participate on road bikes, while younger children participate on their own bikes with "fat" tires.

Ready2Race Clinic
Clinics on road bikes for children aged 11 to 15 outside school hours.

What we are looking for:

• Affinity for sports and sports promotion, preferably cycling;
• Affinity for encouraging children to get active / promoting (cycling) sports;
• Experience in organizing events;
• Excellent written Dutch skills;
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once;
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations;
• Confidence in speaking in front of a group;
• A team player who can also work independently;
• Proactive;
• Energetic, ambitious, and loves challenges;
• Not bound by a 9-to-5 mentality;
• In possession of a driver’s license (Category B) and preferably your own car.

Your tasks will include:

• Coordinating the Dikke Banden Races (about 200 events per year);
• Managing the inventory for Dikke Banden Races;
• Communicating with organizers of Dikke Banden Races and processing registrations for Dikke Banden Races and Ready2Race Clinic events;
• Handling logistics for all Dikke Banden Races;
• Organizing various events;
• Being present at events and coordinating them on-site;
• Contributing to the further development of the Ready2Race program.

Internship period:
We are looking for a full-time (graduation) intern to work with us for a year. Ideally, you will start in the summer for a few days a week (starting in July 2025), and from September 2025 onwards, you will work full-time.

What are you going to do?

You will strengthen and support the areas of digital marketing, merchandise, and community. Your focus will be on growing our webshop and expanding the database of fans and followers of Team Visma | Lease a Bike. You will contribute creative ideas, take initiative, and have the opportunity to implement your own ideas.
 

We are looking for someone who:

• Is knowledgeable about digital marketing trends;
• Is currently pursuing a degree in (sports) marketing;
• Is available from September 2025 for 40 hours per week;
• Has a flexible, proactive attitude and does not have a strict 9-to-5 mindset;
• Has excellent written Dutch skills and a good command of English;
• Has an affinity for cycling;
• Can work independently;
• Has a good understanding of campaigns and activations;
• Is available for approximately 20 weeks.

• Has excellent written Dutch and a good command of English;
• Is studying communication and/or journalism;
• Is up to date with social media trends;
• Has experience with video editing and graphic design;
• Can work independently and show initiative.

Do you have a passion for cycling, have excellent organizational skills, and are you studying (sports) marketing and/or events management? Have you always wanted to work with one of the best cycling teams in the world? Then this internship might be for you!

What are you going to do?
You will strengthen and support the areas of commerce, hospitality, and events. Your focus will be on organizing internal and external events, growing our Business Peloton, and preparing for hospitality activities. You will contribute creative ideas, take initiative, and have the opportunity to implement your own ideas.

We are looking for someone who:

• Enjoys taking responsibility for our events;
• Is studying (sports) marketing and/or events management;
• Is available from September 2025 or late January/early February 2026 for 40 hours per week, with no 9-to-5 mentality. End date is negotiable, preferably available until the end of July 2025;
• Has excellent written Dutch and a good command of English;
• Has an affinity for cycling and events;
• Can work accurately, methodically, and independently;
• Is not afraid to speak in front of a group;
• Wants to grow into an organizational expert;
• Holds a valid driver’s license (Category B).

• Wants to grow into an organizational expert;
• Holds a valid driver’s license (Category B).
