Vos continues cyclocross season for Team Jumbo-Visma

Vos continues cyclocross season for Team Jumbo-Visma

Marianne Vos will continue her cyclocross season on Dutch soil tomorrow at the World Cup race in Hulst. For the multiple world champion, this will mark her first race in the black and yellow outfit of Team Jumbo-Visma. It will also make her the first rider to represent the brand new women’s formation.

After her strong road season, the 33-year-old Vos made a successful return to the field last week with a victory in Essen. Since her last road race, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, in mid-October, the rider from the Dutch province of Brabant has slowly built up towards the cross season.

"I am really looking forward to starting in the Team Jumbo-Visma outfit."

“I am really looking forward to starting the World Cup in Hulst in the Team Jumbo-Visma outfit. It is nice to be able to show the colours of the team in the women’s peloton, starting with the cross. It will take some getting used to for both the fans and myself, but it feels like a warm welcome with the team and I am very happy with the support”, Vos says.
