Vos looks forward to collaboration with Ferrand-Prévot in Milano-Sanremo Donne

With ambition, Marianne Vos is setting her sights on Milano-Sanremo Donne. After finishing fourth in Trofeo Alfredo Binda in her season debut, the Dutch rider wants to fight for victory, with her collaboration with Pauline Ferrand-Prévot being crucial in achieving a top result, according to Vos.

In Trofeo Alfredo Binda, Vos raced together with Ferrand-Prévot for the first time, and she was very pleased with the experience. "It's great to race again with Pauline. We've had many great years together already. Pauline is a incredibly strong addition to the team, and that became clear right from the first races, where she already showed a lot."

"Pauline always gives her all for a good result for the team"

"Pauline always gives everything for a good result for the team”, continues the 37-year-old Dutchwoman about her collaboration with the French rider. "It's wonderful that she thinks like that, and it makes it enjoyable to ride with her. It was valuable to have raced with her already, even though Saturday will be a different course. But we will do everything we can to achieve the best result."

In the pursuit of a strong performance, Vos knows that good teamwork with her teammate is of great value. "As a team, we will strive to make the most of each other's strengths and qualities to achieve the highest possible result."

The Dutch rider, who won Dwars door Vlaanderen and the Amstel Gold Race last year, hopes for the best possible result. "It will be an incredibly exciting finale, in which I hope to play a role together with Pauline. Of course, I feel some healthy nerves, but most of all, I’m looking forward to it," Vos concludes.

Alongside Vos and Ferrand-Prévot, Eva van Agt, Femke de Vries, Imogen Wolff, and Viktória Chladoňová are also part of the six-rider selection for Team Visma | Lease a Bike Women.
