The national championships road race: the results

From The Netherlands to Hungary and Belgium to Norway. The battle for the national champion jersey was on last weekend with beautiful victories as result. Check out the results of the riders of Team Jumbo-Visma below.

Dylan van Baarle new Dutch champion

Olav Kooij finished a respectable second after a long day in the breakaway. Read more here!

Strand Hagenes takes U23 title in Norway

Per Strand Hagenes has become Norwegian champion in the U23 category. The rider of Jumbo-Visma Development Team finished ninth among the professionals. Read more here!

First place Women Elite Criterium champion Labecki, second place in road race

Coryn Labecki got a first-place finish in the USA Women Elite Criterium Championship. The rider of Team Jumbo-Visma Women crossed the line in second place during the road race.

Sixth place for Rüegg in Switzerland

Noemi Ruëgg finished sixth at the Swiss Championships.

Germany: Riedmann finishes eighth

In Germany, Linda Riedmann crossed the finish line in eighth place.

Simmons third at USA U23 championships

Colby Simmons just missed out on the victory at the U23 championships in the United States. He finished second after a millimetre sprint. He also took second in the national criterium championships.

Third place for Vos in the Netherlands

Marianne Vos took the bronze medal at the Dutch national championship. It is the thirteenth medal at the Dutch national championships in Vos' career.

Third place for Henderson in Great Britain

Anna Henderson has finished third during the British Championship. The rider of Team Jumbo-Visma also achieved that result in 2022.

Bronze for Belletta

Dario Belletta has again taken bronze in the road race of the U23 Italian championship. He also achieved that result in the ITT a few days ago. Pietro Mattio took seventh in the road race.

Benoot fourth in Belgium

Tiesj Benoot just missed out on the podium in the Belgian championships. He was part of the decisive breakaway, but was unable to follow a last-minute attack of two other riders. He came in second in the sprint for spot three. Wout van Aert, Nathan Van Hooydonck and Tosh Van Der Sande were part of an early attack that did not make it to the finish.
