About Sjors Lugthart
The Dutchman Sjors Lugthart was part of CyclingClassNL during his junior years—a joint initiative by the KNWU, NOC*NSF, and Team Visma | Lease a Bike focused on professionally guiding and developing talented athletes. His talent quickly caught the attention of Team Visma | Lease a Bike, and early in his final junior year, Lugthart signed a contract with Team Visma | Lease a Bike Development. In 2025 he claimed a bronze medal at the Dutch national time trial championship for Under-23's.
