A very special year - Gesink and Wynants about progression and young talents

In the third part of the series 'A very special year', Robert Gesink and Maarten Wynants talk about the progress of the team, their experience and their help to develop young talents at Team Jumbo-Visma.

In the recent years, Team Jumbo-Visma have been taken many huge steps. Gesink and Wynants have been racing with the team for a long period. "The team has proven that we can let young riders develop and improve. I think there’s a lot of new potential at Team Jumbo-Visma."

In 'A Very special year' we look back on the past season in four videos. Next week with sport directors Grischa Niermann and Addy Engels. Last week, we spoke Jos van Emden and Head of Performance Mathieu Heijboer about time trial and innovation.
