Preview Amstel Gold Race

Preview Amstel Gold Race

The only Dutch World Tour classic takes place this Sunday. In the Amstel Gold Race, Wout van Aert and Robert Gesink are part of Team Jumbo-Visma’s squad.

Sports director Frans Maassen: “This is our home race, a nice one on the calendar. Wout will end his great spring campaign here. This race suits him. Jos, Paul and Robert are the experienced guys in the team who all know this race very well. Last year, Floris was very good here, so that gives confidence. With Koen and Bert-Jan, we have two other riders who are well-suited to this race.”

Sports director Grischa Niermann: “We have a strong team and this race suits us. Wout is in good shape and he'll be protected very well. Danny and Mike are also able to go for a good result.”
