Preview Belgium races and World Championships cycling

The last four weeks have been very successful for our team. Primoz Roglic took the win in the general classification and the victory in the individual time trial of the Vuelta a España. On top of that, Sepp Kuss grabbed a stage win at the top of the Puerto del Acebo. Moreover, Dylan Groenewegen showed his good shape by winning three stages in the Tour of Britain.

During the upcoming weeks we will be riding four Belgium one-day races. Next week, the World Championships in Yorkshire will start. On Sunday, the first races will take place where some of our riders will participate. The first race coming up is the Team Time Trial Mixed Relay.

Sports director Frans Maassen: “The first of the four Belgian one-day races is the Kampioenschap van Vlaanderen. Last year, Dylan Groenewegen took the victory and we will try to repeat this result. The next day, we will race in the Primus Classic. We will try to sprint again with Dylan. The profile is hilly and lots of riders who will participate in the World Championships are also up there. I think it will be an tough race. On Sunday, the Gooikse Pijl is on the program. On Wednesday, we will be start the Ronde van het Houtland.”
