Cycling clubs

Team Jumbo-Visma Academy aims to persuade more young people to pick up cycling. Well-functioning Dutch cycling associations are an absolute prerequisite. Partly thanks to these cycling clubs, the riders of our World Tour team are so successful today.

To ensure the growth of new talent in the future, Team Jumbo-Visma Academy encourages young people to get on their bikes. To realise this, we organise cycling clinics in collaboration with secondary schools and local cycling associations. We think it is important that the association actively contributes to improving the quality of cycling associations in general and its own club in particular. Team Jumbo-Visma Academy supports this process by co-developing the expertise of trainers, sport directors, soigneurs, bus drivers, mechanics and all other volunteers. We regularly organise congresses, seminars and workshops with appealing guests and members of associations who can participate in cycling camps which are organised for members exclusively.
