With the Coppi e Bartali and the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya, two stage races in southern Europe were on the program for Team Visma | Lease a Bike. Koen Bouwman showed in Italy that his form was more than good. He won the third stage and the overall classification. This was partly thanks to excellent work by the entire team.
