Looking back on the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift

Looking back on the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift

On Sunday July 23, the second edition of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift started. Departure point: Clermont-Ferrand. Eight days later the race ended with an individual time trial in Pau in the south of France. Will you take a look back?

Stage 1-4

In the second stage of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, Eva van Agt asserted herself. She was part of the leading group for a long time, but had a nasty fall in the last section. Van Agt had to leave the race. A day later, Marianne Vos sprinted to second place. In the fourth stage it was Coryn Labecki who claimed a place in the leading group. Unfortunately she had to let go on the penultimate slope. Markus crossed the line first for Team Jumbo-Visma. On Sunday Markus took fifth place in the final time trial.

Stage 5-8

The flat stage on day six again offered good opportunities for Vos, but in the end a rider from the early breakaway took the win. Vos finished fourth. In the seventh tough stage the peloton conquered Col d'Aspin and Col de Tourmalet. Markus showed herself strong and finished seventeenth. On Sunday Markus took fifth place in the final time trial. Amber Kraak and Anna Henderson finished just outside the top ten in the TT.
