Hoydahl, the son of former Norwegian mountain bike champion Rune Hoydahl, is eager to develop himself as a road cyclist. "It means a lot to me to sign for this strong team. It is a great opportunity. I do not have much experience in road cycling, but I would like to develop myself in this discipline. I felt at home in the group during the training camp in Denia. In the coming years, I will find out where my strengths lie in road cycling. In this environment, I can get to know myself better and become a better rider."

Head of Development Robbert de Groot is looking forward to working with Hoydahl. "Jonas has a background in mountain biking and has a broad sports education. This is important for us. We have been watching him for a while, and during a few internships, we got to know him better. Based on these good impressions, we want to continue with him. We look forward to working with him and letting him develop gradually."
