RTV De Bollenstreek receives polka dot jersey within Team Jumbo-Visma Koers

RTV De Bollenstreek has been promoted to partner of Team Jumbo-Visma Koers at the polka dot jersey level. The collaboration intends to help the cycling club from Lisse realise its ambitions.

Team Jumbo-Visma Koers is a working method that allows cycling clubs in the Netherlands to take steps in their growth and development.

Jaap van Hulten, Head of Community at Team Jumbo-Visma, is happy to give the collaboration with De Bollenstreek new impetus. “We are very much looking forward to continuing cooperation. RTV De Bollenstreek is a big club with a large youth section. It has a beautiful course and good facilities. It is a stable club. An enthusiastic team of people with real and good ambitions wants to professionalise further.”

For RTV De Bollenstreek board member Lennard van Harskamp the focus is on further developing the association. “We have a nice group of youth riders and our number of youth members continues to rise. That is why we want to keep developing as an association. In addition to the fact that we, as an association, want to offer recreational sport, we also think about our members’ development. There are always a few talented young riders who focus on making the step to semi- or even professional work. Therefore, we would like to professionalise the club’s management, the board and the group of trainers. With their knowledge and expertise, Team Jumbo-Visma is helping us very well.”
