General Terms and Conditions for Events and Arrangements
General Terms and Conditions – Organizer
Events by Yellow B.
Article 1: Definitions and Applicability
1.1. In these general terms and conditions (“General Terms and Conditions”), the following terms are defined as:
a. Events: The events and arrangements organized by Yellow B. These Events vary in nature (including, but not limited to, sports clinics, hospitality packages, and visits to (international) matches).
b. Contracting Party: The natural person or legal entity entering into the Agreement with Yellow B.
c. Participant: The natural person participating in one of the Events.
d. Agreement: The agreement between Yellow B. and the Contracting Party.
e. Participant Terms: Terms that the Participant must accept before being allowed to participate in the Event.
In cases not covered by these terms, the board of Yellow B. will decide. Any reference to “he” also implies “she”.
Article 2: Agreement
2.1. The Agreement between Yellow B. and the Contracting Party is established through written acceptance (signature) or confirmation by email. By entering into the Agreement, the Contracting Party accepts these General Terms and Conditions.
Article 3: Payment and Cancellation
3.1. Yellow B. will send an invoice after the Event in accordance with the quotation. This invoice must be paid within 30 days.
3.2. A Contracting Party may cancel the Agreement only in writing (including by email) in accordance with the following conditions:
a. More than 4 weeks before the Event: no charge;
b. Between 2 to 4 weeks before the Event: 50% of the invoice amount;
c. Between 0 to 2 weeks before the Event: 100% of the invoice amount.
Article 4: Participation in the Event
4.1. The Participant may only participate in an Event if he/she has accepted the applicable Participant Terms, completed the registration form truthfully and fully, and returned it to Yellow B. This form may include health-related questions. Health data will be treated confidentially and destroyed as soon as possible after the Event.
4.2. Specific requirements may apply for participation in an Event (e.g., wearing a helmet and/or protective gear). The Contracting Party accepts all associated risks.
4.3. If Yellow B. deems the Participant physically unfit to (continue to) participate, further participation may be denied.
4.4. During the Event, the Participant must follow Yellow B.’s instructions and directions. If these are not followed adequately, further participation may be denied. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.
Article 5: Cancellation and Force Majeure
5.1. If the Event cannot take place due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure, Yellow B. will inform the Contracting Party as soon as possible.
5.2. Yellow B. may decide not to proceed with the Event. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to:
Actions or omissions by third parties engaged by Yellow B., such as suppliers, subcontractors, and transporters, or other parties on which Yellow B. depends;
- Cancellation of a (top-level) sporting event linked to the Event;
- Weather conditions;
- Strikes.
5.3. In the event of cancellation, a new date will be scheduled if possible. No refunds of registration fees will be issued in the case of force majeure.
Article 6: Liability of Yellow B.
6.1. Yellow B. is responsible for the proper performance of the obligations arising from the Agreement and will meet the reasonable expectations of the Contracting Party.
6.2. Participation is at the Participant’s own risk.
6.3. Yellow B. is not liable for any damages or costs (including personal injury or death) incurred by the Contracting Party or Participant as a result of participation, unless such damage/costs result from intent or gross negligence.
6.4. If, despite article 6.3, Yellow B. is held liable, any compensation will be limited to the amount paid out by Yellow B.’s insurer.
6.5. Yellow B. is not liable for any costs incurred by the Contracting Party or Participant if an Event is cancelled due to force majeure.
6.6. The Contracting Party must ensure adequate insurance (liability insurance, health insurance, cancellation insurance, and travel insurance) for damages/costs due to death, injury, or illness resulting from Event participation.
6.7. The Contracting Party acknowledges that participation in the Event requires good physical and mental health and declares that Participants meet this requirement and are adequately prepared. Yellow B. strongly advises Participants to undergo a sports medical examination before participating.
6.8. The Contracting Party indemnifies Yellow B. against liability for damage and costs suffered by third parties as a result of acts or omissions attributable to the Contracting Party.
6.9. Yellow B. is not liable for theft or loss of luggage and belongings of the Contracting Party or Participants, including bicycles, materials, and equipment.
Article 7: Portrait Rights
7.1. The Contracting Party grants Yellow B. prior consent for the publication of photos, video footage, and similar media made during or around Events in which the Contracting Party appears, for promotional and commercial use by Yellow B. and/or its partners.

Article 8: Complaints Procedure
8.1. Yellow B. organizes its Events with the utmost care. Any complaint concerning a performance by Yellow B. must be reported as soon as possible after the issue or damage has occurred. The complaint must be submitted in writing (info@teamvismaleaseabike.com), specifying the relevant Event. The complaint must be complete, clearly described, and include any supporting evidence. Yellow B. will assess the complaint within fourteen days.
