The L on our Tour de France jersey

The L on our Tour de France jersey

Last month we presented the jersey in which our riders will ride this year's Tour de France. Of course, the logos of our most important partners are also on this jersey. One of those logos makes its debut in the Tour. It's the 'L' of L-founders of loyalty. The logo is printed on the back and adorns the upper back of the athletes.

L-founders of loyalty specializes in designing, creating and implementing loyalty programs for retailers. The company has sixteen offices worldwide and twelve hundred years of experience. According to Richard Plugge, general manager of Team Jumbo-Visma, innovation with a good understanding of the fundamental principles of a business or sport is an important agreement between L-founders and the sports teams.

L-founders of loyalty was founded by Robert van der Wallen. In 2012, he started his then company BrandLoyalty by sponsoring Jac Orie's skating team and in 2014 he was closely involved in the founding of Team Jumbo-Visma. Today, Van der Wallen is a supervisory director and, in addition to being a sponsor, is still a loyal and committed partner.

"The partnership between our team and L-founders of loyalty is valuable and sustainable," says Plugge. "We hope that their involvement will give an extra boost to our riders during next summer's Tour de France."
