Team Jumbo-Visma extends partnership with Supersapiens

Supersapiens has been a partner of Team Jumbo-Visma since August 1, 2020. The company will remain so in the coming period, as both parties recently extended their cooperation.

The American Supersapiens developed a sensor (a continuous glucose monitor) that measures the user's glucose level. The real-time data end up in an app. These data can help athletes choose their nutrition and/or timing to achieve training goals quickly.

Asker Jeukendrup, head of nutrition at Team Jumbo-Visma and sports nutrition scientist: "Thanks to Supersapiens, we know for sure that our nutrition strategies are effective. Moreover, thanks to the system's data, we can advise athletes very accurately. They all get tailor-made advice. Supersapiens makes the difference between hoping to improve metabolism with nutrition and knowing it does."

Like Team Jumbo-Visma, Supersapiens is very ambitious. The company wants to become the most influential sports brand of this decade. We also share the drive to innovate.
Supersapiens is constantly optimizing its expertise and technology. We keep a close eye on all these developments so that we can continue to provide maximum support to our athletes.

The Supersapiens system works through Abbott's Libre Sense Glucose Sport Biosensor. The product is available in Austria, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
