No significant role for Team Jumbo-Visma in time trial Tour de Suisse

Team Jumbo-Visma has not been able to play a significant role during the eighth stage of the Tour de Suisse, a time trial. Koen Bouwman finished in 32nd place as the team’s best rider in the day’s result, at just over one minute from the winner.

“Everyone has done their own time trial with their own ambition and goal”, Sierk-Jan de Haan said. “Especially with respect to investing in and improving their condition towards the upcoming races. Tomorrow, we will race again like we did the rest of the week. It will be a very tough stage, but hopefully we can show something with Antwan or Koen.”
