Solid team time trial Team LottoNL-Jumbo in Dauphiné

Team LottoNL-Jumbo have ridden a decent team time trial in the Dauphiné. Coming in ninth, the team performed well as they appeared with one rider less at the start.

Grischa Niermann was delighted. “It went very well. The boys have showed they are super contenders and limited the time loss for Antwan Tolhoek very well. This allows us to go into the mountains with confidence.”

Tolhoek agrees with his sports director. “Especially Jos van Emden, Lars Boom and Neilson Powless have ridden hard today. With just three time trial specialists, and one rider less, finishing ninth in this field is a good result. It means that we have given everything for each other.”
