The Dutchman with the big smile: three years of Sam Oomen in pictures

The good-humored Sam Oomen is leaving Team Jumbo-Visma after three great years. Time to look back on his time with the team in a photo album.

2021

In his first year, Oomen finished eighth in the general classification of the tough Tour de Suisse. Two months later, he helped Primoz Roglic win the Vuelta a España.

2022

In 2022, the Brabander managed to place himself in the top-10 of the general classification in a strongly fielded Volta Ciclista a Catalunya. He also played an important part in the successful opening weekend of the Vuelta a España in the Netherlands.

2023

In his final year for yellow-black brigade, Oomen and his teammates wrote history. The then 27-year-old Dutchman managed to help his Slovenian leader Roglic to his first Giro d'Italia.
