Jonas Vingegaard won the fifth stage with the finish on the Jebel Jais. In addition, Chris Harper managed to secure a fourth place in the general classification. Finally, debutant David Dekker finished second twice and with this he won the general points jersey.

The very first race for the Team Jumbo-Visma women's team was held in Belgium during the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad.

The Omloop Het Nieuwsblad was also the start of the European season for the men's team. Olav Kooij, Edoardo Affini and Nathan Van Hooydonck made their debut in yellow-black jersey.
