Last Saturday, Omloop Het Nieuwsblad was the start signal of the spring classics. Team Jumbo-Visma rode a strong race, with Mike Teunissen ending up at place six. Wout van Aert finished eleventh. In the Ster van Zwolle, Jumbo-Visma Development Team successfully kicked off the first road season in its existence.

The development team of Team Jumbo-Visma showed itself well. Olav Kooij took the second place in Zwolle, while Rick Pluimers finished seventh. Team Jumbo-Visma also raced in the United Arab Emirates. Dylan Groenewegen won his third race of the season. The last two stages of the race in the Middle East were cancelled due to suspicion of the presence of the corona virus.
