The most beautiful photos from the second Giro week

The finish in Rome is almost in sight, although four tough mountain stages and an uphill time trial await in the upcoming final week. Let's have a look back at the second week of the Giro d'Italia on this rest day. Watch the best photos from stages 10 to 15 below.

Last week, the Giro peloton once again braved inclement weather conditions in Italy. After Primoz Roglic finished the tenth stage unscathed, the team leader was involved in a crash the next day. Thanks to his teammates, Roglic didn't lose any time compared to the other classification riders.

In the following stages, Michel Hessmann and Sepp Kuss showed themselves in the breakaway and it remained windless among the the favourites. Roglic enters the second rest day in third place. He is 1'20" behind leader Bruno Armirail and he is two seconds behind Geraint Thomas.
