Team Jumbo-Visma Women prepares for Tour de la Semois

Team Jumbo-Visma Women will be at the start of the Tour de la Semois on Friday. The second edition of the ‘Climber’s Trophy’, which was first held in 2020 under the name Trophée des Grimpeuses, will have two stages for the first time.

The two-day event will be held in the Walloon province of Namur. The program includes a stage from Vresse-sur-Semois to Bièvre over 132 kilometres and a stage from Bohan to Vresse-sur-Semois over 105 kilometres.

The first edition in 2020 was a one-day race and was won by the Dutch Inge van der Heijden. Anouska Koster finished sixth last year. “The 2020 edition was a beautiful course. It is a beautiful area and contains some nice climbs. Last year’s race had an attractive course with many attacks. It’s great that the race has been extended to two days this year. I’m curious what that will bring. I’m really looking forward to competing with the team there.”

Besides Koster, the selection consists of Romy Kasper, Teuntje Beekhuis, Amber Kraak, Karlijn Swinkels and Jip van den Bos.
