Kraak eleventh in time trial Tour de Suisse

Amber Kraak has delivered a decent performance in the second stage of the Tour de Suisse. The Team Jumbo-Visma rider finished eleventh in the 25-kilometre time trial.

The Team Jumbo-Visma riders rode a creditable time trial in a strong field of participants. Kraak was the first rider to start on behalf of the team and did well. She came just short of a top ten place. Aafke Soet also rode a good time trial and finished twentieth.

"It is good to see that the development we are going through has led to a good result"

Lieselot Decroix

For the Team Jumbo-Visma riders, today's time trial was also aimed at development and discovery. “For all the girls, it was the first time they had to complete a long time trial. We made individual plans for everyone and tried to execute them as well as possible. I think we achieved an excellent result with Amber and Aafke today. It is good to see that the development we are going through has led to a good result”, race coach Lieselot Decroix said.
