Van Belle rushes to fourth place in Tour of Slovakia prologue
Loe van Belle has finished fourth in the prologue of the Tour of Slovakia. In the end, the rider for Team Jumbo-Visma, who typically represents the Jumbo-Visma Development Team, fell eight-hundredths of a second short of the podium.
The prologue in Slovakia consisted of seven lightning-fast kilometres. Van Belle, whose transfer to the Team Jumbo-Visma pro team in 2024 was recently revealed, temporarily had the first time at the finish. "I would have liked to have been on the podium. There was a small difference between me and the number three. In the end, though, I'm satisfied with this fourth place", Van Belle said.

The vice-champion of the past Dutch U23 Championships continued his impressive form after riding well in the Tour de l'Avenir at the end of last month. "I have shown more often in this kind of prologue that this suits me well. I came out of the Tour de l'Avenir with a good feeling. It's nice that I can show it here as well. The legs are good."
