About Jørgen Nordhagen
Jørgen Nordhagen is a very talented first-year rider with a background in cross-country skiing. The Norwegian impressed in the junior category and, as a result, immediately signed a multi-year commitment with Team Visma | Lease a Bike. Since 2025 he has been a part of the WorldTour team after spending one season with the development squad. Nordhagen demonstrated that he deserved a place on the World Tour by impressively winning the Coppa Città di San Daniele and securing the final classification of the Giro Della Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia in 2024, among other successes. The young Norwegian also performed strongly in the Lidl Deutschland Tour, where he claimed the mountain classification. In 2025 he once again impressed with a stage win in the Giro d'Italia Next Gen as well as climbing to an 8th place on the brutal queen stage of the Tour de Romandie.
