General Terms and Conditions for Events and Arrangements

Definitions:

a. Events: the events and arrangements organized by Yellow B. These Events vary in nature (including but not limited to sports clinics, hospitality arrangements, and visits to (international) matches).
b. Participant: the natural person who takes part in one of the Events.

1. Participation in an Event may be subject to specific requirements (such as wearing a helmet and/or protective clothing).
2. The Participant shall comply with all reasonable directions/instructions from Yellow B.
3. The Participant accepts any risks associated with an Event and acknowledges these risks.
4. During participation in an Event, the Participant shall follow Yellow B.'s instructions/directions. Participants who do not follow these instructions adequately may be denied further participation. Costs will not be refunded.
5. If Yellow B. believes that the Participant is physically unable to (continue to) participate, further participation may be denied. Costs will not be refunded.
6. Participation is at one’s own risk. The Participant travels to and from the Event at their own risk.
7. Yellow B. is not liable for theft or loss of luggage and belongings of the Participant, including but not limited to bicycles, materials, and equipment.
8. The Participant acknowledges that participation in the Event requires good mental and physical health and declares that he/she meets this requirement and has sufficiently prepared through training and other means. Yellow B. expressly and strongly advises the Participant to undergo a sports medical examination in connection with participation.
9. The Participant gives prior permission to Yellow B. for the publication of photos, video material, etc., made during or around Events, in which the Participant is visible. The Participant can request cessation of such publication by sending a request to info@teamvismaleaseabike.com.
10. Yellow B. is not liable for any damage or costs (including personal injury or damage/costs due to death) suffered by the Participant or their next of kin as a result of participation, unless such damage/costs are the result of intent or gross negligence.
11. If, despite clause 10, Yellow B. is held liable, the obligation to compensate for damage/costs shall be limited to the amount paid out by Yellow B.'s insurer in respect of that damage/costs.
12. Yellow B. is not liable for costs incurred by the Participant if an Event must be cancelled due to force majeure.
13. The Participant must be adequately insured (liability insurance, health insurance, and travel insurance) for damage/costs that they or their next of kin may suffer due to death, injury, or illness caused by participation in the Event.
14. The Contracting Party indemnifies Yellow B. against liability for damage and costs incurred by third parties as a result of acts or omissions attributable to a Contracting Party.
15. The Participant may only take part in an Event if they have accepted the applicable Participation Conditions and have fully and truthfully completed and returned the registration form to Yellow B. This form may include questions about the Participant’s health. The health information will be treated confidentially and destroyed as soon as possible after the event.
16. In cases not covered by these conditions, the board of Yellow B. will decide.
