Child of the team, Jos van Emden, ended his pro career after sixteen years with our team. The Dutch rider managed to achieve several major victories under the colors of Team Jumbo-Visma. He will now use his years of expertise as team leader at Visma | Lease a Bike Women. To look back on the years together, we have collected the most beautiful photos of Van Emden.
- 2019
Van Emden had several successful years on the bike, but the year 2017 will remain extra special for the Dutchman. With a victory in the always tricky Dwars door West-Vlaanderen, Van Emden showed his top form. Less than three months later, he achieved his biggest victory by winning the final stage of the Giro d'Italia in Milan. Two years later, in 2019, Van Emden managed to become Dutch time trial champion for the second time.

2020 t/m 2024
In his last years within the team as a pro rider, Van Emden played an important part in the development of young riders. By transferring his expertise, the talents of Team Jumbo-Visma quickly found their way within the pro peloton. In his last year as a pro rider, Van Emden managed to triumph once more. In Elspeet, he managed to become Dutch time trial champion for the third time with supremacy.
