De Vries in top ten of final GC Setmana Ciclista Valenciana

Femke de Vries secured seventh place in the overall classification of the Setmana Ciclista Valenciana. Thanks to a clever move during the final stage, the Dutch rider jumped from thirteenth to seventh place, seizing valuable bonus seconds in an intermediate sprint.

With this result, Team Visma | Lease a Bike achieved the goal they had set for the race. De Vries impressed throughout the four-day event by staying sharp and consistently riding at the front of the pack.

"We can only be satisfied with this performance"

Robby Cobbaert

Sports director Robby Cobbaert praised his riders’ performance: “We set a goal beforehand and built our race plan around it. This result didn’t come easy; we had to fight hard for it. Finishing in the top ten gives us confidence heading into the bigger races. The team showed resilience, especially by chasing down a strong breakaway. We can only be satisfied with this performance.”
