The final stage traditionally took place in and around Barcelona, with the Montjuïc as the highlight. The Spanish hill had to be conquered six times in the final stage. The race ignited at the first passage, but Team Visma | Lease a Bike missed the battle. In the end there was a sprint for victory, with Tadej Pogacar as the eventual winner.

"This race didn't quite go the way we envisioned it beforehand," sports director Marc Reef began his story honestly right away. "However, the fighting spirit of the men is to be commended.
