The jersey features fifteen drawings created by children

Team Visma | Lease a Bike launches ‘Dream Like a Champion’ campaign ahead of the Tour de France Femmes

Today, Team Visma | Lease a Bike unveils its Dream Like a Champion campaign, an initiative designed to inspire children to pursue their cycling dreams. The campaign marks the women's team's participation in the Tour de France Femmes, which will take place from August 1 to August 9, 2026, and consists of nine stages.

During the Tour de France Femmes, the women's team will wear a special edition jersey featuring fifteen drawings created by children, illustrating their cycling dreams. The idea behind it is simple: every champion was once a child with a dream. This jersey is for every child who dares to dream, and for everyone who believes in them.

From drawing contest to surprise

Ahead of the Tour, Team Visma | Lease a Bike organized a drawing competition in which children could put their cycling dreams on paper using a downloadable template. What the participants did not know was that the best drawings would not only win prizes, but would also literally ride along in the biggest women's cycling race in the world.

That surprise is now being revealed. Riders from the team personally visited the winners to present them with the jersey featuring their own drawing.

One of those special moments took place at Het Spoor primary school in Zeist, The Netherlands, where seven-year-old Duco received a surprise visit. The team car drove onto the schoolyard, a rider entered the classroom, and presented Duco with the Tour jersey featuring his drawing. It was a moment no one in that classroom will soon forget.

Jasper Saeijs, CMO of Team Visma | Lease a Bike: "The reaction of children when they see their drawing on the jersey worn by our riders says it all. In that moment, they realize that their dream truly matters. That is exactly what we want to achieve with this campaign: to make every child feel that they are allowed to dream, and that dreams can sometimes become reality. Dream like a champion."
