About Per Strand Hagenes

Norway-born Per Strand Hagenes has been a member of the Visma | Lease a Bike Development Team since 2022. Like his compatriot Johannes Staune-Mittet, Strand Hagenes has joined the World Tour team in 2024. In 2021, he became the world road champion in the junior category. As a first-year U23 rider, he won two stage races the following year. In 2023, the young Norwegian showed he was ready to step up to the pros. With victories in the Olympia's Tour and the 4 Jours de Dunkerque, Hagenes started his season strongly. With victory in the always tricky Sparkassen Münsterland Giro, he put a crown on his 2023.
