Per Strand Hagenes stays with Team Visma | Lease a Bike until 2027

Team Visma | Lease a Bike has extended its contract with Per Strand Hagenes. The 21-year-old Norwegian rider will now stay with the team until 2027.

Hagenes joined the Development Team in 2022 and moved up to the WorldTour team this season. On Sunday, he finished third overall at the Renewi Tour.

Grischa Niermann, speaking for the team management, sees great promise in Hagenes: "We are happy to keep him on board. He's improved every year since he joined our Development Team. This year, his first in the WorldTour Team, he's made even more progress. We see a great future for him as a strong classics rider. It's fantastic that we will be working together to achieve this."
