Kuss climbs to ninth place in Tour of Romandy standings
Sepp Kuss has finished ninth in the third stage of the Tour of Romandy. The American also climbed to ninth place in the general classification. The hilly stage that began and ended in Estavayer was won by Marc Soler.
Sports director Jan Boven looked back on a difficult and tough stage. "It was a very tough stage. The weather conditions were not great: rain all day and about eight degrees. Jos and Tony were able to give the team a good performance in the final. We saw a strong Sepp today. It's just a shame that Steven couldn't join us in the last stretch. And Gijs was in the group with Steven."
