About Per Strand Hagenes

Norway-born Per Strand Hagenes has been a member of the Visma | Lease a Bike Development Team since 2022. Last year, Strand Hagenes has joined the World Tour team. In 2021, he became the world road champion in the junior category. As a first-year U23 rider, he won two stage races the following year. In 2023, the young Norwegian showed he was ready to step up to the pros. With victories in the Olympia's Tour and the 4 Jours de Dunkerque, Strand Hagenes started his season strongly. With victory in the always tricky Sparkassen Münsterland Giro, he put a crown on his 2023. In his first year in the World Tour, the Norwegian showed that he is ready for the big job with creditable performances in the monuments Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix.
