Team Visma | Lease a Bike launches its 2026 Tour de France jersey inspired by Antoni Gaudí, giving fans the decisive vote

Inspired by the Grand Départ of the Tour de France in Barcelona, Team Visma | Lease a Bike unveils its new 2026 Tour jersey. The design is built around the creative concept The Architect, placing the influence of Antoni Gaudí and the city’s distinctive visual language at its core.

The 2026 Tour jersey draws directly from Gaudí’s work and sketches, where natural structures play a central role. One element stands out: the honeycomb. For Gaudí, strength was not about how something looked, but how it worked. The honeycomb embodies that idea perfectly, a collection of small elements forming a strong and highly efficient whole.

That philosophy aligns seamlessly with Team Visma | Lease a Bike. We are a team built on the belief that a collective approach delivers more than individual brilliance alone. The honeycomb pattern on the jersey makes this idea tangible, connecting the spirit of Barcelona and Antoni Gaudí with that of the team.

In line with that philosophy, fans are once again given a direct role in the design process for only the second time in the team’s history. They can choose between two versions of the jersey, a dark and a light edition, both based on the same design principle. Voting will take place between 21 and 23 April, after which the winning jersey will be worn during the Tour.

Fan involvement goes beyond voting. During the pre order phase, supporters will have the opportunity to add their own name to the jersey. This personalisation is subtly integrated into an element reminiscent of an architectural signature.

Jasper Saeijs, CMO of Team Visma | Lease a Bike: “Our fans are becoming an increasingly important part of the team. The yellow black swarm keeps growing, also along the roads. It is great to involve them directly in the design of our Tour jersey once again.”
